CF Webber Gallery presents printmaking exhibition

The College of Central Florida Webber Gallery will present “The 2026 Extreme Pressure 3rd Biennial of American Prints” Aug. 3- Sept 11. This competitive national exhibition is open to all forms of traditional printmaking and showcases the diverse techniques, perspectives and creative possibilities found in contemporary printmaking throughout the United States.
Five cash prizes will be awarded, with purchase awards totaling a minimum or $2,000 through local organizations including the College of Central Florida permanent collection.
Artworks will be judged by Donald Furst, emeritus professor of art at the University of North Carolina Wilmington. As a faculty member for nearly 40 years, Furst received numerous teaching distinctions and is currently the operator of Ars Longa Press, a fine art atelier specializing in stone lithography, mezzotint and other forms of intaglio printmaking. His work has been exhibited and collected internationally.
The community is invited to the opening reception and awards presentation on Thursday, Aug. 20, 4:30-6:30 p.m.
