About

This certificate in network security provides students with a foundation in cybersecurity. Students will learn and demonstrate proficiency in programming, database design, network structure and cyber security as well be exposed to the competencies included in the following industry certifications: CompTIA’s A+, Network+ and Security+.

The courses in this certificate program are also part of the Associate in Science degree in Computer Information Technology. After receiving their certificate, students are encouraged to continue their education by completing the courses in the A.S. degree and further learn key skills and knowledge important to success in the dynamic, challenging and growing field of network security.
