Community School of the Arts
Dedicated to the cultural development of our community through performing arts outreach.
CF’s Community School of the Arts is committed to providing high-quality private or group instruction by college level faculty to young people interested in making music an important part of their lives. Email heumane@cf.edu for more information.

Private instruction are available for students in grades K-12 and interested adults and are held in CF’s beautiful Dassance Fine Arts Center. Private lessons are also available online, pending teacher availability. Our instructors are skilled teachers in their disciplines who hold advanced degrees and have accomplished performing and teaching careers.
Private instruction is available, pending instructor availability, on most instruments, for vocalists, and in music composition. Group classes are available in music theory.
Tuition Rates
Registration Fee: $25
Lessons are one-half hour: $25
- Program A (13 half-hour lessons, one per week) $325
- Program B (10 half-hour lessons, one per week) $250
- Program C (6 half-hour lessons, one per week) $150

Faculty
All of the instructors are on faculty with the College of Central Florida’s Visual and Performing Arts Department. They are credentialed at the standards recommended by CF’s accrediting agency, the Southern Association for Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges. These instructors specialize in developing the skills needed to pursue a higher education degree in the arts.
