Florida Law Enforcement Academy

About

This program is designed for students who seek certification as law enforcement officers. Graduates will be eligible to sit for the state’s certification examination. The program is certified by the Florida Department of Law Enforcement, Criminal Justice Standards and Training Commission, P.O. Box 1489, Tallahassee, FL 32302-1489, telephone 850-410-8600.

This program is limited access and has additional admission requirements.

Upcoming Academies

The next full-time Florida Law Enforcement Academy will begin April 26, 2021. Packet reviews begin Feb. 15, 2021 for this academy.

The next part-time Florida Law Enforcement Academy will begin June 7, 2021. Packet reviews begin April 19, 2021 for this academy.
