About

This certificate prepares students for employment in front-line guest service roles in hotels, resorts, theme parks, and other hospitality venues. Graduates may pursue positions such as guest services associate, front desk coordinator, concierge, or customer service representative.

The curriculum focuses on delivering exceptional guest experiences, including training in communication, conflict resolution, cultural awareness, and service recovery strategies. Students will also learn foundational hospitality operations, reservation systems, and best practices in customer engagement.

The courses in this program will prepare students to sit for industry-recognized certifications such as the Certified Guest Service Professional (CGSP) and ServSafe® Food Handler certification. It will also provide students with internships at organizations like the World Equestrian Center to gain hands-on experience in the field.
