About

The Associate in Science degree in Cardiovascular Technology prepares individuals to perform invasive and peripheral examinations of the cardiovascular system at the request of physicians to aid in diagnoses and therapeutic treatments. This degree includes instruction in reviewing and recording patient histories and clinical data, patient care, investigative and examination procedures, diagnostic procedures, data analysis and documentation, physician consultation, equipment operation and monitoring, and professional standards and ethics.

This program is pending accreditation and the first class is anticipated to begin 2024.

This is a limited access program, with additional criteria for program admission and course registration.

The pathway for this degree is coming soon! In the meantime, please explore its A.A. pathway, which is intended for students transitioning into the A.S. degree. This A.A. transfer pathway allows students to complete program prerequisites and general education courses while awaiting a place in program.
